Wy:

I want to take this opportunity to recognize and acknowledge all the wonderful and lovely things about you and being with you. From the beginning, our communion was overflowing with love and admiration. Respect and nurturing care. A great balance. Naively, I thought that great balance was everlasting; untouchable by the ebb and flow of life. However, after almost 2 years with you, I have learned that the times of imbalance and wavering are immensely nurturing as well.

Thank you for being there with your patience, temperance, and humility while our relation serves as a powerful (and sometimes hard to look at) mirror for me. Thank you for not shaming or discarding me while I navigate through the murky waters we come across along our journey. Thank you for receiving my honesty and rawness with care.

On the other hand, when we are both at our best, receiving each other is just as important. Thank you for allowing me full and total expression of myself no matter who is watching or what anyone may think. There is nothing I enjoy more than observing you in your full expressions of greatness. The moments where you and I are in our own world of play and fantasy, the surrounding world blends together like a mosaic and all I experience is our connection.

You are my Peter Pan and this is our Never Ending Story. Isn’t it pointless, isn’t is beautiful <3

Alai

Alai:

Alai the first things that struck me about you was your voice which is sweet, smoky and sexy. The other is the presence you bring into a room, it’s genuine and cataclysmic. I remember the night we met as one of deep but seemingly random meaning. I wasn’t supposed to be at the party and neither were you and yet on that debautched night  we sat on the couch talking about your dog and I made my move to get you out of the house and on the walk so I could hear your voice better and look at the moon. So sweet and innocent I grinned ear to ear after seeing you to your car and on your way.

Looking back on our almost two years together you and I have gone through what retrospectively could be called hardships but in the moment we took them in stride. You went off to college in Spain three months after we met. I missed you a lot those days and looked forward to every FaceTime and letter that came my way. It’s funny that we got to know each other the most was when we were separated by thousands of miles.

I love learning with you

I love growing with you

Planting seeds in the garden of our minds

Let’s us grow into big healthy bean beings

Thank you for your patience and understanding this past month or more. I know it’s hard to be in such close proximity to each other and not being able to get that time and space alone but It’ll be worth it soon. When we’re off on adventures together again soon.
